“Superbrands” is an internationally recognised project that started in the UK and has spread to 90 countries on five different continents. Its essence is the independent evaluation and awarding of the best business brands that have a significant position on the local market and have built a good reputation with customers. The Superbrands award is now in its seventh year of its renewal in the Czech Republic.
Companies can’t simply apply for the Superbrands title. It all starts with the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic providing a database of all registered trademarks. After Bisnode selects the shortlisted candidates from among the registered brands, the most important element of the whole procedure follows – a consumer survey conducted by GfK. Here, customers vote for the brands they like and have the best experience with. From the finalists, the absolute winner of the Superbrands title will ultimately be decided by the Brand Council’s expert jury, which is made of professionals from business, communications, media and marketing research.
