Fourteen lectures by the chief surgeon Stodůlka were unique not only in quantity but also in their contents. Chief surgeon Pavel Stodůlka, for example, presented the first outcomes of procedures with the fastest laser platform for eye surgery called Keranova, which is also equipped with a robotic arm for the first time. His most successful lecture was scheduled last in the conference program on Tuesday at 8 pm. Nevertheless, the lecture hall was fully filled with about 800 participants. After the Conference, the chief surgeon Pavel Stodůlka visited the company Keranova and its laser laboratory to discuss further development of laser platforms for eye surgery together with the experts from this company.
Dr. Stodůlka and Dr. Halašová were also awarded for the use of special eyeglasses for the treatment of keratoconus and corneal hardening after laser surgery using the CXL method.
The eye doctors of the Gemini Eye Clinic, who attended the Conference, gathered much new knowledge about the latest developments in eye surgery and represented the Gemini Clinic with successful lectures, as well as ensured that the Gemini Clinic were keeping up with the latest trends in eye surgery.
