The chief surgeon of the Gemini Eye Clinic in Zlín took part in another international ophthalmic conference as an active presenter. This time, he traveled to Germany where he lectured on the CAPSULASER, in the development of which he participated. The laser is utilized at the beginning phase of the cataract surgery to prepare the clouded lens for its removal from the eye, and this stage takes only one second; it is the fastest method for this phase of the procedure. Dr. Stodůlka has been lecturing on the topic for many times and has received numerous awards, the most prestigious one being the first prize for the scientific video in the cathegory of ophthalmic innovations at the conference in Denmark.
