This professional organization called the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences (WCRSVS) operates worldwide and provides education in refractive surgery. Its objectives include representing, teaching eye doctors, and establishing criteria for training and practicing refractive surgery.
Professor Pavel Rozsíval and Chief Physician Pavel Stodůlka were the only representatives from the Czech Republic involved in the establishment of this organization. Through WCRSVS, they contribute to improving the quality and education of this specialization while also promoting the interests of Czech surgery abroad. Their membership in this organization is a significant recognition for Czech refractive surgery.
